Washingtonâ€™s top prospect Victor Robles injured his right elbow on a diving play last week in Rochester, NY, and Nationalsâ€™ skipper Davey Martinez offered an update on the 20-year-old outfielder when Robles was in the nationâ€™s capital last week to see the teamâ€™s doctors for an official diagnosis.
â€śHe has a hyperextension of his right elbow, and heâ€™s really, really swollen, so theyâ€™re going to reevaluate him on Monday, when the swelling goes down,â€ť Martinez explained. (více...)

Monday marked a good night for the Nationals, as the club erased a five-run deficit to defeat the rival Mets, 8-6. while also getting encouraging news on Victor Robles. Robles has been diagnosed with a hyperextended left elbow and will be reevaluated Monday, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.
The Nationals will wait for the swelling in Robles' injured elbow to go down before taking another look. Robles suffered the injury Monday on a dive for a flyball at Triple-A Syracuse, but early signs are that he avoided major damage to his elbow. Once he goes in for re-examination, there should be a firmer timetable for Robles' return.
