Chris Taylor is expected to be sidelined 4-6 weeks after being diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture in his left forearm.
Taylor said the fracture -- which he suffered when he was hit by a pitch Sunday -- occurred just above the wrist. The 28-year-old has had an up-and-down season, but the Dodgers will certainly miss his versatility. Taylor has made at least five starts at four different positions this season.(více...)
Dodgers placed INF/OF Chris Taylor on the 10-day injured list with a fractured left forearm.
Initial X-rays on Taylor's arm came back clean after he was hit by a pitch Sunday. However, he was sent for additional testing Monday due to continued soreness and the new scan revealed the bad news. Taylor left Sunday's game against the Red Sox after getting hit by a pitch in the wrist. Initial X-rays were negative, but the wrist remains very sore, so the Dodgers will send him for more tests.(více...)
