Rangers right-hander Andrew Cashner won after yielding three runs on four hits and three walks with four strikeouts in six innings Saturday against the Rays.
Spin: Cashner fell into an early 3-0 hole, but he managed to walk away with his fifth win after the Rangers rallied with four runs off Rays ace Chris Archer. The 30-year-old continues to outperform his peripheral stats, posting a 3.64 ERA that does not line up with his 1.1 K/BB ratio or his 4.49 FIP. After going 2-1 with a 2.75 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP in three July starts, now may be the ideal time to sell high on the Rangers righty in deep fantasy leagues.
