Erick Fedde gave up four hits, two walks, and four earned runs in five innings against the St. Louis Cardinals in his return from the Disabled List on September 4th, then the right-hander tossed 5 2â3 scoreless against the Philadelphia Phillies in his second outing following a two-month DL stint for a right shoulder issue.
Fedde picked up a career-best nine Ks from 20 batters faced in Citizens Bank Park, holding the Phillies to two walks and two hits in what ended up a 3-1 win for Washington (více...)

Erick Fedde put together another solid start and set a career-high in Ks along the way.
Erick Fedde returned from a two-month stint on the Disabled List to make a five-inning start against the St. Louis Cardinals last week, giving up four hits, two walks, and four runs in an 11-8 loss in the nationâs capital in which he received no decision. The runs he allowed were scored in the second, and he wrapped up his return to Washingtonâs rotation with three scoreless on the mound.
Nationalsâ skipper Davey Martinez said things changed for Fedde when he started to work off his fastball. (více...)
